Your tires tell the truth about your suspension. When alignment, bushings, and mounting points degrade, they change how the tire contacts the road — often in ways that are immediately visible to someone who knows what to look for.
Scalloped or cupped wear (patches of bald rubber alternating with tread blocks around the circumference) is the classic symptom of worn shocks or struts. Each time a wheel hits a bump with dead damping, the tire skips slightly and wears that small section harder.
